Duration: 40 minutes approx.
With growing consumer interest in gut health and wellness, probiotics have become a popular addition to the dietary supplement market. However, maintaining their viability throughout manufacturing and shelf life poses significant challenges due to their sensitivity to moisture, oxidation and heat. To ensure efficacy, probiotic formulations require carefully controlled conditions during production—particularly low humidity and temperature. Manufacturers often add costly overages of expensive nutraceutical active ingredients to meet label claims.
This webinar will explore how strategic selection of excipients and packaging solutions can significantly improve the stability of probiotic capsules. Industry experts will share best practices for formulation and highlight the critical role of packaging design in preserving probiotic viability during storage.
