Mathias Fleury - Head of Category - Actives, Givaudan Active Beauty

Mathias Fleury is the Head of Category for Active Ingredients at Givaudan Active Beauty. His primary mission is to convey innovations to Beauty brands, driving the Beauty market with high precision ingredients that consumers love, such as hyaluronic acid, biotech-origin ingredients, and pharmaceutical quality botanical extracts. Mathias joined Givaudan in 2017, after a MSc in Chemistry & Colloidal Science from the National Chemistry School of Lille, France, and a first professional experience as Scientific Marketing Manager in a start-up operating in the fascinating world of formulation labs.

Previously, she held senior roles at Seppic in marketing, sales, and R&D, including positions such as Beauty Care Active Ingredient Marketing Director and Business Area Sales Manager. Her extensive background also includes work in cosmetic application labs and international subsidiaries, providing a comprehensive industry perspective. Léa holds a degree in Organic Chemistry and Biology and a master’s in Perfumery, Cosmetics, and Aromatics from ISIPCA-Versailles.
