After completing an MChem in Chemistry at the University of Leeds, Hannah joined Croda on their Graduate Development Programme and has undertaken a variety of different commercial roles across the business. With experience across the personal care market, in her current role Hannah is responsible for managing Croda’s global skin care portfolio, including their Solaveil™ mineral UV filters. By gathering market insights, Hannah is instrumental in the creation and delivery of commercial launch plans for innovative sun care ingredients that meet consumer market trends and customer needs.
Aline Moreira de Souza - Research and Technology Manager - Sun Care, Croda Beauty
Aline joined Croda in 2014 and is the current Research and Technology Manager for the Photoprotection business, specializing in sunscreen development. With over 20 years’ experience in the chemical industry and more than 12 years in R&T for cosmetic formulations, she excels in formulating and substantiating claims in cosmetic products and raw materials. Aline holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and an MBA in Cosmetic Technology. She has presented numerous technical seminars at global cosmetics events, as well as articles publications, highlighting her expertise and contributions to sun care and personal care products.
Karen Ho - Co-Founder and CEO, Gravel AI
Karen Ho is the Co-Founder and CEO of Gravel AI - Personal Care Ingredient & Industry Intelligence Platform. Prior to Gravel, Karen was the Global Head of Data Products at RELX - a FTSE100 business informatics company that owns in-cosmetics Global. Karen holds a Physics MA from Oxford University and is passionate about data engineering.

Angele Gazon - Global Product Manager - Functional Ingredients, Solabia Group
Angele holds a Master’s degree in Chemical Sciences from the National Graduate School of Montpellier, as well as a specialised Master’s in Product Management from Montpellier IAE. She joined the Solabia Group in 2023, following diverse experiences in cosmetic and home care formulation. With a strong scientific background, Angele is responsible for managing Solabia’s portfolio of UV dispersions and functional ingredients. She plays a key role in the development and successful launch of several high-impact ingredients, including the G-Block™ product line.
Kristal Goodman - Head of Product Innovation, THG LABS
With over 25 years in the beauty industry, Kristal brings a unique blend of scientific expertise, creative vision, and strategic insight to the development of award-winning, consumer-loved products. Her deep knowledge of cosmetic actives allows her to translate science into compelling product stories, while her role on THG LABS’ Eco Leadership Team and the CTPA Eco-Beauty Scoring Committee reflects her commitment to sustainable formulation.
